On December 26, the first Cultural Industry Innovation and Creative Design Competition in Hubei Province was held in Hubei Radio and Television Station. Ju Zhaohui, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department, attended the event and presented awards to the winners. The Creative Works of Jingchu Culture by Liao Zhijie, a digital media art major under the guidance of Peng Shuang, a teacher from the School of Art of our School, won the "Most Popular Online Award".
It is reported that since the launch of the competition in May, after eight months of intense competition, it has attracted many design agencies and creative talents to participate. The competition set up "Hubei Welcome", "Flower YOUNG Hubei", "National tide is crazy" and "City Lights" four distinctive racetracks, a total of more than 40 design institutions inside and outside the province, and a total of more than 3,100 works were collected. The voting session attracted more than 1.3 million online votes, showing the public's enthusiastic attention and high participation in the contest. Liao Zhijie's "Jingchu Cultural Creative Works" won the first place in the online voting process with 41,195 votes.
It is understood that the School of Art has always attached importance to the cultivation of students' innovative ability and the improvement of practical ability. Based on regional culture and industrial characteristics, the school has set up characteristic teaching direction and curriculum system, organically combined teaching and student competition, stimulated students' cultural innovation and creativity, and promoted the creative transformation and innovative development of Jingchu culture.
