Recently, 4000 new students of Grade 2017 have received their library cards, which was the last part of library guide education.
It is introduced that a special work group has been set up to direct library guide education, to show students the library arrangement, and to give them detailed instruction to use library resources properly and efficiently. What deserves to be mentioned is that all the visits are booked online.
The library guide education includes utilizing catalog map, information index, recommending professional books and so on. That can be of great importance for students to learn and research.
The Library Director, Wu Shen said, knowing and using the library resources is a basic ability for college students to learn actively and independently. By the increase of undergraduate programs, we will optimize the resources, improve the service quality for academic researches and discipline constructions, build specific teams and provide training programs of different levels, items and fields.
