It is reported that Fan Mingwu is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, cyclotron expert, magnet theory and engineering expert, has won the national, provincial and ministerial awards 11 times, won the national outstanding contribution of young and middle-aged experts in 1997, was elected academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999, and won the 65th anniversary Medal of Merit of China's nuclear industry in 2020.
